The Lawrence Area Gay-Straight Alliance was formed in October of 2009.
Our mission is to work toward a more accepting environment for
all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity,
through education, support, social action and advocacy.
The Lawrence Area Gay Straight Alliance welcomes all
middle and high school
lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons,
questioning youth, and their heterosexual allies.
